Frequently Asked Question

I am having a 403 error when I try to log in to the Taxpayer Administrator Portal (TAP), what can I do?
Last Updated 2 years ago

There is a number of steps that you can perform on your own to make sure you gain access if you are receiving a 403 error when you try to log in to the Taxpayer Administration Portal (TAP) platform, here you can find them in no particular order:

  • Please make sure to use either Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge as Internet browsers.
  • Make sure to double check if you have installed the RCA and ICA certificates as per instructions.
  • Restart your browser completely.
  • Check the URL you are trying to access
  • Check if you are using an active smart card or certificate and not a revoked a smart card or certificate.
  • Check if you are using a smart card or certificate for the proper environment
  • Check if the dialog for selecting the certificate has been closed by mistake, or hasn't showed up at all.
  • Check if the browser has been closed after the cache has been cleaned.
  • Check if the dialog for imputing the PIN number has been closed by mistake, or hasn't showed up at all prior to logging in.

If you have installed certificates correctly, you can try and run your browser in incognito mode in order to log in into the Taxpayer Administration Portal.
