Frequently Asked Question
According to their needs, taxpayers can choose either a hardware or a software electronic fiscal device (EFD) solution. There are very few limitations on what an EFD can be as most smart devices can serve as a POS (ESIR) or an E-SDC (LPFR).
Taxpayers that issue a small number of fiscal invoices per day, can, for example, decide to have a tablet on which they will install the software for the cash register, sales data controller (LPFR) and Secure Element. They can connect it to any regular thermal printer that is able to print a QR code in order to print fiscal invoices.
