Why can't I log into the TAP or Developer Portal?

These are the possible reasons for not being able to log into the Taxpayer Administration Portal (TAP):
Taxpayers
- You didn’t plug in your smart card reader or your reader is malfunctioning
- Check if the smart card is sitting firmly inside the reader. If it is moving, the reader might not be able to read the smart card chip.
- Contact your smart card reader manufacturer or seller to learn how to check if the reader is operational.
- There is an internet connection problem on the side of the remote server (500-type error)
- Close your browser completely (both normal and incognito modes) and reopen it. Try to log in again.
- Your certificate has expired
- Visit a Tax Authority office to request a new certificate.
- Your certificate was revoked
- Check your email to see if you received notification from the Tax Authority about certificate revocation.
- Visit a Tax Authority office to request a new certificate.
- You selected a wrong certificate (400-type error on the screen)
- If you installed additional certificates, there is a chance you selected a wrong certificate to log in.
- You need to select the certificate installed on your Authorized Person (Admin) Smart Card or your POS Access Smart Card. Before that, you have to close your browser completely (both normal and incognito modes) and reopen it.
- You are using an antivirus software which is performing HTTPS inspection and preventing you from using your certificate to authenticate yourself (400-type error on the screen)
- Consult the software user documentation or contact the company support to learn how to check if this is happening.
- Your firewall filter is blocking the Taxpayer Administration Portal URL
- Consult your operating system or user documentation or the company support to learn how to add the Taxpayer Administration Portal URL to the trusted sites list.
