TaxCore propagates tax rates through SDCs - sales data controllers. A POS, within payload (invoice request) sends the line item along with the tax label that corresponds to the one propagated to the SDC. 

The SDC, based on your gross amount per line item, calculates the tax and returns the amount of the tax in an invoice response, which you have to incorporate in your invoice structure and issue to the customer.
