Is a QR code necessary on each invoice?

Only printed invoices are required to have a QR code. All invoices that are sent via electronic means, i.e. e-mail, SMS, Viber, WhatsApp, etc. can contain a clickable verification URL. The customers can then click on the URL to verify the authenticity of the invoice by landing on the Invoice Verification Page.
